I love historical romance I love mmmmf romance I really really love cowboys You'd think that by combining those three things this book would be a hit with me It truly wasn't At times the prose was so purple I'm surprised I could even seen the words on my e reader Other times the writing was so convoluted that I had to read the sentences two or three times to make sense of what the author was saying The love scenes were boring The characters were annoying The plot might have been a good one if the author hadn't tried to pack it into a short number of pages but even the basic idea can't make up for the writing
