    I had to return this I was expecting a month by month recipe book based on what your body needs Instead I got simple recipes that I actually already eat Think smoothies and avocado toast No recipe was exciting enough to make this book worth keeping

    I was excited to get this cookbook My husband and I are trying for a baby and I wanted to start early with getting the best food Some of the recipes in here are on my list to try others I wouldn’t even bother witheggplant stackers No thanksIt’s not bad but not great I’m also a picky eater so I’m looking forward to trying some of the recipes in hereI do like the trimester information at the beginning of the bookIt doesn’t include photos of every recipe A few photos are scattered in the book

    Recipes are great book is best suited for those who are not big meat eaters and concerned with mitigating weight gain While I find a lot of the information helpful not everything in it is realistic for some women and those who read it should consider that it’s one persons perspective If you can’t afford to eat organic everything and don’t want to beat yourself up for eating gluten this book is not for you

    I wanted this to be a go to during my pregnancy but it's less helpful than I hoped Only about half of the book is devoted to recipes I had hoped it would have full meal plans for each week to take some of the guesswork out of food prep Instead it's a general guide to how much of each nutrient you need info also listed in every other book on pregnancy I've seen The recipes are organized by dish like a regular cookbook

    I really didn't like this book at all The author's writing style is holier than thou I have a healthy lifestyle but this book berates anyone that eats meat and doesn't buy organic vegetablesThe book lists vegetables that you absolutely must buy organic because regular vegetables are full of pesticides The nail in the coffin for me was the suggestion that you should not buy anything that has sugar listed on the labelAlso the recipe book has very few pictures which I find uninspiring in a cook bookI'll save you £1099 and summarise the book basically only eat organic vegetables drink only water add a bit of lemon if you're feeling adventurous and get plenty of exercise The end

    I can’t stop going through this book It’s absolutely amazing it’s not just about food but also discusses physical activity pregnancy symptoms etc It’s super educational I’m absolutely happy with my purchase and I recommend it for every mom

    A fantastic book filled with a lot of great nutritional info I particularly like the week by week advice on what foods to eat according to what mother and baby need at that stage It has become our food bible at home Will definitely be gifting this to expectant mothers around me Couldn’t recommend it highly

    reads well but not a great book if you have a nut allergy Obviously you just make the dishes without them but they are in most of the recipesHaven't had chance to make and use this book yet only read
