    Bought this book from uk This book has been on my wish list for a long time and I thought it would be great but to be honest I am disappointed First of all from the beginning the author tells us what is going to happen Why not put that in a prologue chapter I could not escape being spoiled and as some of you know I hate that After I'd read about 100 pages I really did not want to read any cause I wanted to be relaxed while reading but this story pissed me off too much How the cops treated this case upset me greatly and going through some sad family problems I not need to be upset or angry when I manage to readI am going to read and finish it soon thoughUpdate July 9thWow that was great lol Yes I know I am still pissed of about the spoilers but what a great story and very well written for someone who writes their first book so kudos to Mrs FielderSo glad I did not skip the rest Hope she will write books One thing I cannot stand the mother of Bobby but what I did not understandIsn't it so that when a husband kills his wife and there are children they do not go to the killer's family but to the victim's family if it can be helped? So the excuse that perhaps Farish was worried she would lose her grandson does not hold for me Plus she had not much love for her daughter so i uestion her love for the then babyNo she only loves herself Also not sure if I consider women that have sex with a married man victims or with a killer as in Renee;s caseI would love to know Does Bitch Farish still believe in her son in law?Is Renee still in love with her killer of a husband It seemed the author felt sorry for her how is the son of Vicki doing? Is Bobby in protected custody or still just in the general population of the jailhis is proof that this was a good book Donna made me really interested in this case

    I was very interested in reading this book since it is about a fellow teacher from Denton Also I knew a member of the victim's family in Denton and several of the witnesses in the trial I was extremely disappointed in the writing of the book It was very repetitive and included information that had absolutely nothing to do with the case I wasn't thrilled with this book

    Nice job capturing such a tragic series of events I might be a little partial to my hometown AND the author but hey who's counting? ;

    This was so poorly written and repetitive I wanted to scream Newspaper reporters who want to write a true crime book should study Ann Rule’s books for how to’s Fielder often repeated statements within pages if not paragraphs of each other certainly every time the perspective of the person in the tale changed This was taking “tell them what you’re going to tell them; tell them; then tell them what you told them” to an insane level What works in newspaper articles Ie recaps of past information doesn’t work in a bookAll that being said the underlying story of the cop who murdered his wife was compelling Don’t give up reading it even if you’re annoyed with the writing The cross examinations by the prosecutors are alone worth finishing the book

    How does a woman shoot herself in the chest while cleaning her husband's service 9mm while she's still in bed? Well that's what Officer Bobby Lozano said happened to his wife schoolteacher Virginia Viki Lozano on July 6 2002 in Denton TexasRead the True Story of The Brutal Crime that happened in TX on 7602 see if it was either suicide accidental death or a murder of a beloved schoolteacher and a mother of an 11month old baby boy

    Donna has a penchant for portraying her true crime stories honestly and accurately Her use of descriptive adjectives for the characters makes the reader aware of what is happening through the author's eyes
