I think this is a great book if you are not just starting out It gets complex too soon and I found myself unable to follow the patterns I had to turn to the internet to find better breakdowns Then the author immediately throws at you alternative ways to do the pattern and how to combine them with others you have yet to learn Having take one 2 hour class I find it a bit too much all at once Patterns I could not follow in the book I am finding on the internet and having luck in finishing them As is the problem with many teachers because they are so experienced or have perhaps an art background they forget others may not It is too much too soon
