awww such a sweet story ♡♡♡I really loved how this manga is so simple yet it captures how real a person who is in love feels Sometimes you fall for the peculiar guy who doesn't match you Delinuents are often misunderstood the stigma that the society view them are construed wrongly that they are not worthy to be loved but all people deserve to be loved This manga offers us the a slice of life all of us have someone we love but often enough they are not reciprocated Unreuited love is really sad I know we all have been victims of this kind of love but yeah that's life for you ^^

I can't remember when I started reading this but from what I remember since I only got to the second volume this is so far a pretty standard shoujo manga The setup of the main character and the love interest is so far pretty ordinary good girl and a delinuent of a sortUPDATE 30082015I TAKE IT BACK ^ the above Not my rating though That stays It turns out I didn't get passed the first chapter the last time I read it lol This time round however I decided to really give it a try I could deal with a cute little romance It is definitely a cute romance DON'T READ ANY FURTHER IF YOU DON'T WANT ANY SPOILERSIt is also filled with many shoujo manga tropes but it's not half as annoying Like Good girl meets not so good guy in a somewhat compromising position Love interest is in love with another girl who obviously is forbidden Good girl doesn't realise she's in love until later on Good girl still cares about Love Interest even though she knows he doesn't like her back Love Interest eventually returns her loveBut even though it has all those tropes I actually found myself really liking this manga The only reason why it loses stars is because partway through the series around Volumes 8 9 there's an arc that I really found stupid and time wasting Sure it wasn't too bad like it's not as annoying as others but it felt kind of pointless merely a plot device for drama If this arc hadn't been included I would have rated this higher The Pros This is a really cute manga It's definitely light and fluffy and all about love I can sense a bigger theme overall for the whole story but I don't think I'll get to really know the theme until the very end of the manga Which might not be for a while yet Nanase is an interesting female protagonist First off she's not a shoujo manga trope protagonist Rather she's pretty she's smart these things aren't unusual but they're not always paired together she's kind but a little oblivious and sometimes thinks too much She's an interesting character that I like because she's not like the characteristic 'stupid' 'weak' 'crybaby' 'idiotic' kind of protagonist I like this difference She reminds me of Misaki Ayuzawa from Kaichou wa Maid Sama and Haruhi from Ouran High School Host Club I would also compare her to Kyoko from Skip Beat but the manga on the whole is incomparable to that gem of a manga So I won't But yes Nanase reminds me of those female characters and I like her for itAs for the love interest Hana that's his last name btw I forgot his first he's pretty characteristic A delinuent character though not characteristically abusive loud or some such all the time Instead he's kind of a cross between the delinuent image and also the uiet incredibly smart and cool glasses male character only Hana doesn't have glasses lol I like his character too He's simple he moves between loves by accepting his old love and also coming to realise that he likes Nanase He also feels kind of realistic in the sense that he does something stupid based off a very natural very human feeling of unease Still he shouldn't have done it the idiotI like how both Nanase and Hana are very straightforward characters They speak their minds rather than hiding their unease which is common in most shoujo manga They have their faults too but their characters are a pair of a few shoujo manga couples that I actually really enjoy readingSupporting Characters Nanase's friends are great But it's Komari the sensei and also Hana's childhood friend is hilarious She's great Setting Japan Artwork and Writing Good artwork nice and pretty I like it And the writing is ease too Very clear though I have yet to be kind of moved by it At the same time it's not boring Overall A suggestive read Good light and fluffy

I started reading this since I wanted something different than the usual shoujo series out there And after being heavily exposed to shounen and action packed stories I suddenly craved for something realistic I had this strong urge to look for the best romance out there with the right touch of slice of life on the backdrop of a school setting I badly wanted a manga that could twist my insides and make my heart beat with its simplicity and beauty not with the prevailing physicality these days And I’m glad I decided to read Hana kun to Koisuri Watashi because it suited my desires and even surpassed my expectationsThe drawing wasn’t a let down and I liked it very much It wasn’t too artsy nor was it too plain; it was just perfect Also the fact that Sakashita the protagonist didn’t fall into my category of “clichéd shoujo leads” pleased me and made me want to read She was different than the usual in a good way The instant Hana kun was introduced my heart immediately felt for him You’d have this feeling like you wanted to hug him care for him or otherwise just make him feel that someone out there gives a damn about whether he’s okay or not The idea of the secret meetings between the two of them really appealed to me; and although it wasn’t necessarily new I liked it still because it worked uite well The thing about Hana kun is he isn’t the usual guys He wasn’t an eye candy well he’s very good looking but he wasn’t presented in a way the bishounens in shoujo are He was normal and not very conspicuous almost on the background His sullenness and mysteriousness were very intriguing and my heart melted when I saw his smile When he prepared a gift for someone I thought it was so romantic and cute and immediately I wished there were a guy like him in reality “Don’t concern yourself with someone like me I want you to study obediently chairman”Although it was only for chapter two but for me it was already overloading with sweetness what if I read further? I was very excited at the prospect My goodness the umbrella scene My heart was literally racing and I was getting giddy and all that I found it funny when she was walking slowly but then he said “Don’t get too far away from me” and I was reeling with delight “It makes me so happy to see him smile Like I’m so moved that I want to cry What is this feeling?”Well Sakashita I could ask you the same uestion It was astonishing how accurately my emotions were echoed in hers That was precisely how I felt towards Hana kun too A single smile from his was so precious that you’d have this intense desire to stop the moment right there and savor the joyous sensation “I’m so sad and so happy that I like you”I love this so much When Hana kun told her share problems I was so much filled with gaiety As amazingly as it had started the conclusion of the first volume of Hana kun to Koisuri Watashi was just as superb

This is by far your classical typical model student girl delinuent boy romantic story It is pretty enjoyable though The word cute is the best to describe it SPOILER I like the idea of both protagonists experiencing unreuited love I like the fact that there aren't annoying side characters and that the story focuses mostly on the development of the relationship between the protagonists This might make the story seem less real but I'll just think it is subjective like Nanase Sakashita's love diary or something like that Anyway I'm curious to see what will happen when the characters will reach the point when they share their feelings and start dating that's when it usually becomes boring I really like Nanase Sakashita She's not the typical tsudere main heroine which I'm not really into but a cute soft hardworking girl who falls in love for the first time with the first boy she becomes close with after getting to know him better and finding out his true self Pretty credible some of us might relate to this kind of situation The fact that I like Nanase's personality makes me cheer for her and continue reading this manga series ^^

I really like this manga The honesty in this manga is so refreshing and original I can't remember the last time I've read a manga where the characters are so honest and straightforward with each other Dragged out misunderstandings and emotional miscommunication issues in some shoujo manga sometimes could become so overdone but Nanase's openness and earnestness push the story along so well It's not just Nanase the heroine; Hana's also very clear and honest At the same time it all feels genuine sincere and realisticThe story is not particularly deep or profound but the honesty and sincerity make it such a sweet pleasant read Highly recommended

I hit the jackpot again Amazing book very straight forward the characters are honest get straight to the point very grown up for their age in their decision making to me this is as close to a reality relationship as it gets No irritating shit that prevents them to get to the point no dramatic stupid reason to get you angry LOVE THIS I've read many many shojo romance and I always ended up angry with a shitty ending and this book actually give you the slice of life its promised
