It is hard for me to give a romance novel than 3 stars This one while good for a romance novel just doesn't hold up when compared to well written books of a serious nature There was a lot about the story that was terribly unrealistic as is typical of the genre I think the only thing about the book that actually bothered me was how Lily seemed to have no willpower in Roland's presence even when he was a huge jerk to her I don't care how attracted I am to a man if he turns into such a huge jerk that he imprisons me and threatens to rape me and take away my children I will find him disgusting I'm certainly not going to turn into a uivering hormonal teenager every time he walks in to the roomOverall this was a romance novel worth reading if you enjoy this genre
