I absolutely loved this romantic suspense story between pen pals who finally meet Harry is a Marine who is suffering from PTSD and is sent home for the Christmas holiday He looks up his pen pal who he has never met in person schoolteacher Daisy only to discover that she has a Secret Santa stalker who is sending her horrible gifts and letters Harry vows to protect the woman he is coming to care deeply for I loved Harry and Daisy they were perfect for each other and made such a wonderful couple The cast of characters was fantastic including Daisy's fellow faculty members and students Special mention goes to Daisy's three truly irresistible dogs Caliban Muffy and Patch Great suspense and action in this one too

Harry Lockhart and Daisy Gunderson met through a pen pal program over a year ago while he was stationed overseas A bond seemed to form between them but life and duty got in the way and they lost contact Now Harry’s stateside to recover and get a handle on his PTSD He decides it’s time to look up Daisy and see what happens from there After all those letters however he wasn’t expecting to meet his polar opposite or deal with a stalkerThis book had me caught up in the suspensemystery plot and I personally enjoyed unraveling the pieces I loved Daisy’s rescue dogs and their antics and enjoyed revisiting with Harry’s sister Hope and her expanding family I thought Daisy was cute with her hyper personality and funky look and I loved Harry’s rough edges that hid a tarnished heart of gold Overall this was an easy read with a good plot I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book which I received at no cost from the author
