I’m going to go ahead and give this four stars I almost dropped it down to three because of the cheesy way that Andrew and Harris got caught and eventually got their HEA Even with the bad plot twist I really enjoyed this book I also loved Morningwood I’m certainly going to check out the rest of the series

Sity From first sight sparks fly between Harris and Andrew They know they must deny their attraction but their inner beasts will not be ignored No matter how forbidden love finds a way Gingerbred Lessons is the first book in the Welcome to Morningwood Omegaverse series It features a first time age gap romance that may not jingle everyone’s bel. Ok I have to put this out there How many of you have reverted to being a teen like me and snickering over the name of this town I can't help it it cracks me up I'm so pitiful lol  But getting past the name this was a good book I love the shifter theme the alphaOmega it was all good And for you MayDecember fans there is one in here And we’ve also crept into virgin territory So all the goodiesI felt bad for Harris He seems like the sweetest guy Well no seems to it really He is He wants to help and make people happy but being who he is confrontation or aggressiveness makes him want to run And fast He never seems to have many friends If any at all He tries to just remain closed in on himself as much as he can to stay hidden Invisible Always in the back That saddens me And his mother the twat has decided Harris isn't good enough to be around her 'normie’ boyfriend and Harris has to leave That right there just pissed me off so bad And the sad part is some parents really do this crap Smh So he goes to live with his aunt in this shifter community of Morningwood At least now maybe he doesn't have to hide who he is But his first two days in town don't start off well and they seem to be getting worse He's being picked on badly and he keeps opening his mouth at the wrong time Plus he's just seen the man of his dreams and he's the DEAN Oh but sweet little Harris has no idea what he's in for Andrew smells it immediately MineTrying to fit in when you aren't normal is so hard Trying to fit in when you're around other kind shouldn't be so hard but apparently it is Harris can't seem to catch a break All he knows all he's consumed with is Andrew Especially when Andrew goes against his own judgement and kisses him Holy smokes it was HAWT Truthfully Andrew is just as consumed But it makes me sad because they think well Andrew thinksknows it could be a bad idea Since he's the Dean and Harris the student Plus being two different shifters There's a little turmoil involved in here Things get a little too much with some others And a scare sends everything tumbling down And I wanted to cry for Harris He just wanted his manThis is such a good MayDecember It's funny when thoughts of responsibility go by the wayside for the other They live to make each other happy and it's a sweet book Lots of steaminess too A good start to the serieshttplovebytesreviewscom
