This was the last book in this series and it was a fantastic readMy opinion on Jay is still the same Once an ass always an ass I'm over the moon that Katie gave a stand for her and Chad even though it made Jay react the way he did in taking Mason for the record I yelled at the book during that part and yes I know it's just a book I have to give it to Chad He is on this very long road to recovery and even though he couldn't handle Katie see him struggle with his therapy or with any other thing he was dealing with at that point But He was her rock her safe place during the whole thing of getting Mason back I can't help but wonder if it wasn't for Chad being in the shape he was how he handled the whole thing would have been different How he help katie come up with the plan to get mason back just showed another side of ChadMason what can I say That kid is one of kind You can't help but laugh at him as well as love his part in the entire series He so young and innocent but yet at times smarter then he should be in his young age He brings out the best in people in many ways his relationship with Chad was something I enjoyed watching grow Mason even helped Chads family heal on some level Chads parents took to Mason as their own and given the dark history between Chad and his father I think Mason and Hayden relationship was something Hayden needed and in someway it might have even played a part in Hayden telling Chad the secret he was keeping Peoples love for Mason even brings out the worse in people Jay This man is so self absorbed among many other things that he views everything to do with Chad and Katie or Chad and Mason as a threat He can't control Katie she is no longer doing as he tells her she standing her ground with Chad standing behind her and that was a threat to him He became jealous when he saw the budding friendship between Chad and Mason he failed to see the good it could be for his son The fact that Katie didnt charge Jay when the police had him in their custody spoke volumes on how she wanted her son to have evryone he loved in his life with out having to chose between anyone She also didn't want her son to have a bad image of his father so then again she didnt press charges Chad even tells Jay he is not out to hurt mason or even replace Jay as his father cause that would never happen Mason loves his father and nothing would change that made me love chad I loved the way it all ended it's not all puppy dogs and rainbows no one rides away on a horse in to the sunset but yet the ending in my opinion was perfect the whole series was raw real and emotionally draw you in the and lets face it it was real life we here about things like that all the time Chad and his family are moving forward Chad Katie Jay all have alot to work out with Mason in mind But even with all that in mind Chad and Katie have their happy ending and a new beginning that is simply made for them and what their life together will hold Like I said Raw real It's truly life It's perfect Gekka Mugentan, Vol. 4 just a book I have to give it to Chad He is on this very long road to recovery and even though he couldn't handle Katie see him struggle
