I‘m sure that in the school curriculum of many countries of the world there’s a section on the study of OHenry's literature Somewhere somewhere less – but almost everyone has read or at least heard about the good story “Gifts of the Magi” don’t you think? ;Recently I decided to read other stories of the author namely the collection “Strictly Business” 1910 It got its headline from the title story of the same name about theatrical actors a man and a woman who decided to work together on stage in a purely businesslike way prudently and without emotion and what came of it several years later Two other stories “The Thing’s The Play” and “A Ramble In Aphasia” are mirrored They are about husbands who have totally forgotten their lives the first is for real and the second is for fun; the first feels but can’t remember his beloved wife and the second wants to run away from herFew stories deal with various curiosities associated with deception you want to impress the guy or girl you like fool the rascals who trick you along the way and of course sometimes we delude ourselves ;If you enjoy short prose and want to read kind and funny stories OHenry is your choiceSolidly entertaining
