This book is a non fiction book about one of Japanese Famous Tankaist Shiki Masaoka The book consists of 3parts Introduction Poems and its romaji renderings and some notes on the poems This book is both translated and introduced by Seishi Shinoda and Sanford GoldsteinFor me this book is a bit hard to read because I don’t really like non fictionbut this book is a gift from one of my favorite students so I have to honor her by reading it although it took several months for me to pick it up from my book shelfOnce I started reading it beyond my surprise I can enjoy this book I will write the review based on its parts and hopefully other people will be interested in reading itfull review
